Well hello all and thank you for visiting my blog. My name is Kendal and I am 25 years old. I live in Florida about twenty minutes south of Tampa. I'm going to school to be a pediatric nurse with a minor in psychology and in business. I was recently married in March to the most amazing man I've ever met. His name is Dustin and he is in the 173rd Airborne unit in the United States Army. He is currently in Afghanistan and should be home for a 30 day R&R in 26 weeks from tomorrow. Yes, I'm counting!
Going through deployment is extremely tough. I constantly find myself thinking of things to do to keep myself from losing it. So what better way to occupy my time than to start a blog. I've always been into writing and I find it's the best way for me to vent and find sanity at the same time. It's like internet yoga for me.
I have some great websites and forums for military wives and families that I will be posting on here. So for anyone who can relate to what I am going through, stay tuned. Other than that, I hope to meet some great people that I can relate to during this thing they call deployment.
